Vision , Mission,  Programme Education Objectives of Mechanical Engineering Programme

VISION: To develop skilled, creative and socially sensitive Diploma Mechanical engineers to satisfy needs of changing society.

Mission: Imparting value added technical education in Diploma in  Mechanical Engineering for skill development while developing attitude for life long learning and promoting creativity, innovation and entrepreneural spirit.

Program Educational Objectives: The program educational objectives of the diploma mechanical engineering  program are to educate diploma engineer who will be ethical, productive and contributing members of society. As they progress after diploma, our alumni will do the following:

1. Use their engineering foundation for success in

    • Technical careers in industry, government or other organizations         

     • Graduation in engineering

     • Careers involving engineering practice and service,  or engineering education

     • Careers involving entrepreneurship or management

     • Nontechnical careers in areas such as business, service industries, etc.

 2. Use lifelong learning skills to

     - Take advantage of professional development opportunities in their discipline

     - Develop new knowledge and skills and pursue new areas of expertise or careers

     - Adapt to changing global markets and workforce trends

3. Engage in professional service by

- Using their engineering background for advancement of society and to help in solving technical and societal problems

- Developing new knowledge and products that will promote sustainable economic development to improve the quality of life
